Calming Music for Dogs | Tokyo Jazz | 2 Hours of Urban Jazz
Calming Music for Dogs | Tokyo Jazz | 2 Hours of Urban Jazz Hoshi the Shiba Inu took the midnight train out of Shinjuku at 11:55pm and didn't come home until 9am — and this is everything that happened in between. 🌆 Calming music for dogs and the humans who stay up too late with them: 10 original songs of urban Tokyo jazz, smooth enough for sleep, alive enough for midnight. Jazz for dogs and the city-dwellers who love them. Music for dogs to relax to — and for their humans to work, drift, or watch the city through the window at midnight. Cozy jazz that knows what midnight feels like. Vol 18 follows Hoshi through one full Tokyo night — from the Shinkansen at midnight, to ramen underground at 1am, Shinjuku neon at 2am, a basement jazz bar at 3am, a vending machine with life-changing soup, Shibuya Crossing completely empty at 4am, a temple cat at dawn, a konbini onigiri at sunrise, watching the Shinkansen leave at 7am, and finally: the futon. Hoshi saw everything. He slept at 9. Tokyo kept going without him. 🌆 WHAT'S IN THIS SESSION: Hoshi boarded the midnight train without looking at the map, because that's how you do it. He found a ramen shop underground with eight seats and a chef who didn't look up when he came in (the highest compliment). He walked through Shinjuku at 2am where the neon goes vertical. He found a jazz bar behind a curtain and listened to a trio until 3am, clapping the way you clap when something opens you slightly. He stood at a vending machine on a corner at 3am and chose the hot soup, which was the correct choice. He stood in the middle of Shibuya Crossing at 4am — his crossing, entirely his — and crossed on the diagonal. He sat below a temple cat at 5am and neither of them moved for forty minutes. He ate salmon onigiri at a konbini as the sky went pink. He watched three Shinkansen leave without him and was fine with it. He went home. The futon received him. Tokyo kept going outside the window. Perfect for: • Shiba Inu owners (Hoshi made this one for your dog specifically) • Late-night workers with dogs who understand midnight hours • Urban dog owners who love city energy and cozy jazz • Study and focus music — the midnight-to-sunrise session • Background music for anyone who loves Tokyo aesthetic content • Dogs who need smooth jazz at 2am and their humans who are still awake 🎵 Subscribe to @pawmentjazz for new sessions every week. We make jazz for dogs that their humans actually want to listen to. New volumes drop regularly — cozy, urban, rainy, golden — always with a dog at the centre of it. Hoshi is a Shiba Inu. This is relevant because Shiba Inus are the most internet-famous dog breed in history and also genuinely one of the most independent, cool, and self-possessed animals you can share your life with. Hoshi took the midnight train alone. He ate the soup. He sat below the temple cat and understood the protocol. He watched the Shinkansen leave without him and called it beautiful. He slept at 9am with Tokyo outside his window and didn't need it to be quiet for him. This is his album. Doge would be proud. Drop a 🐾 in the comments and tell us your dog's name. Also — if you have a Shiba Inu: we know. We know about the look.
