Chief Mel is known for his Spiritual Leadership and advocacy for Native American health and environmental issues in South Carolina, associated with the Beaver Creek Tribe and the Warriors of the Rainbow Tribe. Anointed by the Grandmothers to continue the work of Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf, he carries a sacred bundle rooted in Mayan tradition, connecting him to the pan-Indigenous prophecy of the Rainbow Warriors - a Spiritually Awakened generation restoring balance to the Earth.
