AUT to know - Your Body, Your Health

Looking after your health as an autistic adult can feel complicated — but it doesn’t have to! Join Elizabeth Bogharian, COO of Autism Awareness Australia, and Barb Cook, neurodivergent advocate, nutritionist, and Athletics Coach, for this FREE live webinar packed with practical strategies to take charge of your physical and mental wellbeing. By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of your body and health, and the confidence to take the next steps — from building sustainable exercise routines to navigating healthcare barriers and knowing when (and how) to seek support. Proudly supported by Chill. Chill is an evidence based social skills coaching program for young adults on the spectrum. Based in West End, Brisbane, 450 young neurodivergent adults attend Chill sessions weekly where creative play, strength-based curriculum, peer mentors in a non-disability environment are key to their growth in confidence and becoming socially independent. Chillies travel from all around Queensland to attend Chill and now have families who have relocated from Melbourne and Sydney for their young adult to join the Chill tribe. About AUT to Know The AUT to Know webinar series is designed to connect parents, carers, educators and professionals with valuable insights and expertise to support autistic individuals in their early years, school years, and throughout adulthood.
