ASCENSIÓN A PEÑA OROEL DESDE JACA/ PIRINEOS/ 4K

In this video, we're going to do a classic route from Jaca, and it has to be the ascent of Peña Oroel. We start from the Jaca Ice Palace, next to which there's plenty of parking. We begin on the road that goes towards the campsite, and along the way, we start seeing signs indicating both the Parador (a state-run hotel) and the summit of Peña Oroel. There are many signs for the route, but having the route track pre-loaded is useful in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Once we reach the Parador de Oroel, which is permanently closed, we can't get lost on the way to the summit of Peña Oroel. It's also possible to drive to the Parador and start the route from there. The route is 20km long with an elevation gain of over 1050m round trip. From the summit, on a clear day, we can see a large number of Pyrenean mountains. The views are breathtaking.
