Manoharan 92 Vilacheri is just 10 km away from Madurai but due busy roads and traffic that takes 30 mins to reach here from Madurai City📍 Vilacheri is a small pottery village in Madurai📍where almost every home belongs to the artisans..they have been licing dince 1940’s.. It is only for last 3 Decades that Vilacheri has gained popularity for its unique style of art thatvis seen here.. Do people from even distance come here to buy clay dolls, toys , navaratri dolls ..for wholesale and retail.. And when i came yo knoe about this place as the first time in my Madurai temple visit also vodoted this plave to buy navaratri dolls for my 11 th Year Navratri Golu..😇 So we bought a couple of paper Mache dolls from Here for Navratri’25 and i felt wuite reasonable in price than in cities..
