Four days in my favorite European city: Paris! I'd been looking forward to this evening for months…and then everything happened at once: My gala dress didn't arrive in time, and I got sick on the very day. I seriously considered not going to the gala. Instead of drama, I spent half a day in bed, watching TV and having room service to recharge, and then the question arose: Do I go through with it or cancel? In the end, I went on a last-minute search for a new dress.
