Asgore. One of Toby Fox's most controversial and at the same time tragic characters. Looking back at the fandom's reaction to him in 2019, I can say with certainty. Half of them, at a minimum, despised him, and at most, fiercely hated him. Fortunately, I wasn't particularly interested in Asgore at the time. Because of my age at the time, I couldn't fully understand the character's essence. And now, after the release of Deltarune Chapter 5, I can finally say with certainty.
