Traore builds Mega Military Academy in preparation for High Intensity War

New Georges Namoano Military Academy in Pô city, Nahouri province: On the Tuesday of April 23rd 2024, while speaking from Banfora city in Burkina Faso's southwestern Cascades region, Captain Ibrahim Traore alerted his military and the entire Alliance of Sahel States Militaries to prepare for a high intensity war, noting that a week earlier, former French military official General François Lecointre, had on April 16th 2024 called on France and it's european counterparts to consider what can be interpreted as recolonization of Africa, for them to safeguard their interests on the continent. That one way through which the AES militaries could prepare for that high intensity war, is to put up walls where they are needed, dig where it is necessary, and train the armies like never before, because the fight is no longer just a war against terrorism, but rather a decolonization war. A year later, that is on June 14 2025, as he presided over the 24th official promotion of Active Officers at the Georges Namoano Military academy in Pô city of Nahouri province near Burkina's border with Ghana, Captain Ibrahim Traore promised among other things, the construction of a new, modern and larger military academy at the prestigious military school. His intention was to construct a military academy that would train significantly more competent officers within the current context marked by the intensified fight against terrorist groups and local proxies of those neocolonialists, That the new academy would ultimately allow the country to strengthen military training and adapt its instruction to the evolving realities on the ground. Then steady but silently, the Burkina state swiftly moved into action almost immediately after Captain Traore had returned to Ouagadougou, and started putting in place the necessary mechanisms to fulfill the promise. Fast forward to July 25th 2026, as Captain Traore returned to Pô city to preside over yet another military passout, it became evident that the promise of a new Georgess Namoano military academy is a promise that had well been kept by the 38 year old Head of State, and a massive academy is under construction, comprising dozens of buildings, 56 in total to be precise, that are simultaneously under construction. And as of that July 25th, out of the 56 planned structures on the new site, more than half are already approaching completion, including the parade ground which had been set to host the graduation festivities for the 25th class of active officer cadets, road network development and paving.
