ESO | Naj-Caldeesh Solo - All Secrets - Lore
A run exploring the quest, lore and secret areas of Naj-Caldeesh from a solo perspective, on Normal difficulty. This one was a definitive cut above in difficulty, and I had to run a much tankier build to even feel comfortable (you can see the jumpcuts on Bosses 2 and 3, lol), but swapping back to a pure Arcanist setup from a subclassed setup, with recovery passives and more defensive gear/skills, worked much better. Gibbering Shield in particular came in clutch for those moments where I just needed to take a breather. I recorded this at about 3am with a couple of moths divebombing me, so you might see the camera go a bit erratic in places ... The secret areas not being fully soloable kinda sucked, but I did like the uniqueness of the vossa-saxtl minigame, and I hope we get more secret content like that. Regular Poxito was pretty annoying at first, but I think as long as you're disciplined with killing totems and killing adds, she is fine. The totems that immediately precede her room-wide aoe attack seem to be locked into a set position for the encounter, but this position changes between dungeon runs, so just pray that they end up nearby one another. Voskrona Stonehulk Poxito was where I needed a lot of the survivability, particularly in mitigating the cone, and I found that having Cruxweaver, Runeguard and a Spectral Cloak-buffed Quick Cloak helped a lot. Some people have mentioned using Runeblades on this encounter instead of Fatecarver, and that may be more beneficial for a more controllable single-target experience. Talen-Lah is nothing really to write home about, but I believe he is currently bugged and won't always spawn the Vos-Mota Dirges, which can make things a lot easier if he doesn't. Trying to stay in that circle while Bar-Sakka is spitting AoEs on to you is a bit spicy.
