Have you ever heard of the Snowballing technique? ❄️ Snowballing is an approach that allows us to conduct a systematic literature mapping study. Its main objective is to identify the most relevant publications on a given area of ​​knowledge. By applying the Snowballing procedures, we can identify both the foundational authors and the most cited works on a topic (backward Snowballing), as well as the state of the art and recent publications on the subject (forward Snowballing). In this workshop, I invited Raquel, who was my colleague in the graduate program, to explain the Snowballing technique for conducting systematic literature studies.
