U-Bahn Hamburg (Hochbahn): Wandsbek-Gartenstadt ohne Brücken der U3

Hamburg, Germany: At Wandsbek-Gartenstadt underground station the bridges of line U3 across Lesserstraße are exchanged in spring and summer of 2023.Abutments are reinforced, and the southern retaining wall of the embankment is reconstructed as well. That's why the small row of shops beside the station building was also torn down. Protective stop signals were placed at the tracks of line U3. Without the bridges, U3 trains cannot reach the reversal sidings east of Lesserstraße. They use the track connection at the western end of the station instead and stop at the western end of the platform. Passengers bound for the city center can change between lines U1 and U3 as usual.
