Before that, I stopped by a tiny hidden alley and tried a bowl of pho at Pho Mai — simple, but incredibly delicious. Later, I enjoyed a cup of bạc xỉu near St. Joseph’s Cathedral and wandered through the Hanoi Old Quarter as the city slowly settled into the evening.
