jace+alec (&magnus) - another love au

The story remains pretty much the same, besides that the timeline is different and that before the beginning we know, Jace & Alec were dating, in secret of course, parabatais commiting eros being forbidden. They were really happy, even though they always had to hide, they couldn't live their love in the open, express their love for everyone to see, so they decided to get married in secret, something simple, kinda the mundane way (but they've traced their mariage runes once back in their room, runes they've hide with a glamour when they came back to the Institute, so did their rings). With the apparitions of Clary & Magnus, they started to fight more and more, Clary & Magnus clearly showing their interest, obviously having no idea they were taken. When Clary kissed Jace, Alec broke up with him, it was getting to hard to live like that, and he felt like Jace was not immune to her charms. After few months, Jace started to date Clary, so Alec took his chance with Magnus. After Jace left with Valentine, things went really down between Alec and Magnus. Magnus always had accepted that, Jace being Alec's Parabatai, he will always be a huge part of Alec's life. Jace being also his ex, made him of course a bit jealous, but he was convinced that Alec's and his love was stronger than that, stronger than Alec and Jace's, but he slowly realises that he was wrong. That he will never be Alec's priority, that he'll never love him as much as he loves Jace. When he comes back, Jace is trapped in his own personal hell, in his mind, Alec & Izzy brings him back. Alec breaks up with Magnus, thinking it would be unfair to everyone to keep going like that. But when Alec goes find Jace, he finds him in tears, completely broken from what Valentine put him through, it brought back all his childhood's traumas he buried so deeply inside. Alec knows it's gonna take time before Jace gets better so he waits for him and helps as much as he can, but it's not enough...
