Talking Heads - SMS Q&A (LA, 2023 with Paul Thomas Anderson)

Talking Heads have reunited for several Q&As this month at Stop Making Sense screenings, this one took place at the Aero Theater (in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California) on September 19th and was moderated by filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson (PTA). It was thankfully captured in this Instagram livestream/recording by actress China Chow (David Byrne's niece) who was at the event). Original post link:   / cxzp3kwlq4d   As far as we know, this is the final event currently scheduled to include David Byrne, Jerry Harrison, Chris Frantz, and Tina Weymouth all at the same time, but who knows - maybe more will follow! This screening was also joined by Steve Scales, Lynn Mabry and Ednah Holt who were all performers in the original recording of Stop Making Sense in 1983, as well as the film's producer Gary Goetzman With the recording of the New York Q&A I spent a long time summarizing every question with timestamps, but with this one I haven't had time yet - I will end up doing that later and adding timestamps to this description.
