Hello, this is Kogerin彡 Thank you for always watching Kogerin Channel☆ In this video, I'll be introducing one of the places from Day 1 of my Naruto & Minami Awaji sightseeing trip: The Otsuka International Museum of Art is a "museum of ceramic panel reproductions of masterpieces" with one of the largest permanent exhibition spaces in Japan, located in Naruto Park in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. It opened on March 21, 1998 (Heisei 10). Inside the museum, more than 1,000 masterpieces of Western art, from ancient murals to contemporary paintings from over 190 museums in 26 countries around the world, are reproduced in the same size as the originals using the special technology of Otsuka Ohmi Ceramics Co., Ltd. Unlike art books and textbooks, these reproductions allow you to truly appreciate the original artistic value of the paintings, and you can experience world-class museums without leaving Japan. The ceramic panel masterpieces are said to remain unchanged in color and form for over 2,000 years, so you can enjoy the original works without deterioration since the museum opened.
