World's Shortest Emirates Flight? Business Class from Bangkok to Siem Reap

Today I'm flying what is often the shortest flight anywhere on the Emirates network — from Bangkok, Thailand to Siem Reap, Cambodia. This unusual fifth freedom route is operated by a Boeing 777 and takes around one hour from gate to gate, with only around 45 minutes in the air. Despite the short flight time, Emirates still provides almost the full business class experience, including priority check-in, fast-track immigration, access to the Emirates Lounge, welcome drinks, hot towels, a meal service and chocolates. On this flight I review the complete experience from check-in at Suvarnabhumi Airport, through the Emirates Lounge, boarding the Boeing 777, the business class cabin, inflight service and arrival into Siem Reap. What makes this flight even more unusual is how empty the business class cabin was. With just a handful of passengers onboard, it felt like having a private jet experience on a commercial airline.
