Hardknott Pass, Lake District on Honda Goldwing - 27th May 2023

Hardknott Pass in Lake District is the steepest road in England with bends having gradient of 33%. The road is narrow and single track. The steep incline, the hairpin bends and the unpredictable surface makes it one of the most challenging roads to tackle. Riding a heavy motorbike like Honda Goldwing with a pillion rider was extremely difficult, but we made it without any mishaps. It was one of our most memorable and breathtaking motorbike rides.
