A Route 66 time-lapse - drive Route 66 in its entirety from Springfield, Illinois to Sullivan, Missouri in almost 14 minutes. Video taken on April 12, 2026. The video journey runs over many different alignments of Route 66. Stops created edit points, some which may not appear congruent, especially with changing light, clouds and slight differences in vehicle position on the road. All edits are matched as closely as possible by individual frames. All of the individual episodes together create the full drive from Chicago to Santa Monica.
