However it does function as a good warm-up for your new season power that's unique to this stage that the mid-bosses and Okina herself will make use out of. With this you can now shoot behind you, so expect enemy squads to also come from behind to make use out of it. Mai and Satono come back as mid-bosses, and they behave similarly to how they did back in Stage 5. They love using attacks that come from behind you, so keep that in mind, know what's coming, and be prepared to start spells right up close to them. Okina's similarly tricky, but ultimately not too bad. The biggest thing is she loves non-directional attacks with moves coming from all over (especially behind you). They all tend to have means of making your life easier, so long as you know what’s coming ahead of time and employ them you'll generally have an easier time against her.
