Let's unbox Tamiya's latest brushed motor, the "Super Stock VZ Motor (23T)"! ↓↓↓From Tamiya's official website↓↓↓ 【High-torque tuned motor ideal for off-road cars】 This is a high-torque tuned motor ideal for electric RC off-road cars. Adjustable timing from -15° to +15°. Features a heat sink-shaped end bell to prevent overheating. Equipped with dedicated carbon brushes, and the brushes are replaceable, allowing for long-term high performance. Ball bearings are used in the shaft to reduce maintenance effort. A dust cover is also provided to prevent sand and other debris from entering. Equipped with a PCB interference prevention board to reduce electromagnetic noise. 【Basic Specifications】 Optimal voltage: 6.6-7.2V. No-load rotation speed: 26000rpm (7.2V). 23 turns Equipped with bearings in the shaft to minimize rotational loss, and allows for timing adjustment to suit races. Brushes are replaceable, allowing for long-term high performance. The bearings in the axle mount will last longer if lubricated with bearing oil. Direction of Rotation Specification This motor has a designated direction of rotation. Install the motor so that it rotates in the direction of the arrow and the car moves forward. Using it in reverse rotation will prevent it from performing optimally. Adjusting the Angle (RPM) The angle can be advanced by shifting the position of the end bell. Please adjust it referring to the diagram below. Increasing the angle increases the RPM, but it also increases battery consumption and shortens the running time. It also increases the load on the motor and can lead to overheating, so please be careful. Conversely, decreasing the angle decreases the RPM, but it reduces battery consumption and extends the running time. Adjust according to the type of race, the car's performance, the course, and the gear ratio. Set the angle to 0 when driving in reverse. Precautions for Motor Use ●The depth of the motor mounting hole is approximately 6mm. Using longer screws will damage the motor. ●Always replace the axle mounts in the car body with ball bearings. Many kits come standard with plastic bearings, which may melt under the high rotational speeds of the motor. ● Continuous running damages the motor. When using multiple batteries, allow time for the motor to rest between battery changes. ● Do not overexert the motor. Poor gear or wheel rotation, or running on deep sand or grass, can cause the motor to overheat and burn out. Burnout will reduce performance. ● Ensure proper maintenance. After running, always inspect the motor to ensure no dust or sand has entered. ● Use dedicated spare parts. ● Replacement brushes can be purchased from our customer service. ● When replacing brushes, also inspect the commutator.
