Beatriz Milhazes: Avenida Paulista – documentário
This mini-documentary is part of the exhibition Beatriz Milhazes: Avenida Paulista and seeks to bring reflections on techniques, processes and sensations created by the work of Beatriz Milhazes in her paintings, collages and engravings. There is a series of testimonies interspersed with statements by the artist herself. With Jean-Paul Russell, owner of Durham Press; Luiza Interlenghi, essayist and art critic; Claudio Mubarac, visual artist and professor of drawing and engraving; May Castleberry, editor; Carlos Martins, visual artist and curator; Márcia Milhazes, choreographer; and Ivo Mesquita and Amanda Carneiro, respectively curator and assistant curator of the Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP). The exhibition Beatriz Milhazes: Avenida Paulista presents engravings and collages by the artist. Curated by Ivo Mesquita, the exhibition will be on display from December 12, 2020 to May 30, 2021.
