Is this the end for SEARS in Whittier? Changes to the Whittwood shopping center | Whittier

Today I visit Sears at the Whittwood shopping center. As we all know Sears has had a long and outstanding run. Sears was the original department store established in 1892. Over the years Sears has failed to stay relevant with consumers and is in jeapardy of closing many stores across the country. Our Whittier location looks like it could be the next casualty. There has been talk of a proposed housing development in the area. Some say that the Sears location is one of the areas that they would use to develop said property. Only time will tell.
