1969, MONTEREY CA, LAGUNA SECA, TRANS-AM, race day

This Trans-Am road race was held at the Laguna Seca race track at Monterey CA. This is 8mm film footage and a few 35mm slides that were taken on August 24 1969. The cars in this film are examples of the veritable high octane candy shop of muscle cars that were produced in the 1960s and 70s to the elation of auto racing enthusiasts worldwide. The Camaros, Mustangs, Javelins, Challengers, Firebirds and Barracudas bring back fond memories of more pleasant times when America was best and first in almost everything we did. I hope you enjoy this and if you did, please like, subscribe and share it with others. For other interesting examples of the America, we loved and cherished follow the links below.
