Stephen Wright of Sanguinetti Clarendon stated he was told by his mother that his year of birth was 1901.His family is, however, unable to obtain a birth certificate from the Registrar General Department confirming this. The double-amputee war veteran of 1943 who travelled to the United States on-farm work up to 1949 attributes his longevity to his ability to honour his mother and father as outlined in the bible.
