King of Kings 2018

King of Kings 2018 This is the third time we’ve helped add to the mayhem by bringing don’t rain’s mobile ramps to help spice up the old park. This would never happen without Danny Bulmer being the driving force in the Bournemouth skate scene, Thanks Bummer for making it happen you are king of kings! So we started on Friday with the Nathan Heard Chalkboard challenges. The aim is to look at the list of tricks cunningly provided by Bummer and land it on film and post it up on Instagram and tag @kingsparkskatepark and #nathanheardiskingofkings then check it off the list by showing Bummer. We mixed it up on Saturday by adding street spot challenges around Bourenmouth. The only way to know the spot was to keep checking @kingsparkskatepark story for the clue of where the next spot was. Local shops and brands donated prizes for the spot challenges to juice it up! Once all that running about throwing yourself down large crusty spots for prizes we all headed bak to Kings Park skatepark To relive our team challenge book. This year we decided to allow teams of 6 to compete to make it even more mental. So each team set about ticking off as many challenges as possible before darkness set in. Sunday was LIT all the teams worked on the challenges and everyone took part in team game of skate, pool jump(kicker to kicker gap over a large paddling pool), Dead fast’s rail jam and go fast speed challenges (with a speed gun) Everyone fully SENT IT!!
