OUR HONEYMOON | BALI

For our honeymoon we went to the amazing Bali, Indonesia. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to celebrate our marriage. Our good friends got married a week before we did so we decided to do a joint honeymoon. Very unorthodox. Very good choice. It was such a blast to experience this tropical wonderland with friends as well as have one on one time with each other whenever we pleased. Our trip started in Ubud where we stayed at the amazing Maya Ubud. Ubud is where you’ll find the quintessential Bali experience: Rice fields, amazing temples, lush jungles and waterfalls, swings that swing off giant cliffs, beautiful and vast wildlife and of course the famous infinity pools Bali is so well known for. We then hopped on a plane and skipped over to the Island of Lombok where we enjoyed a more relaxed beachfront experience. We rented motorcycles and cruised the island in style. Driving on the opposite side of the road than America can be jarring at times. All part of the fun. We stayed at the Qunci Villas Hotel In Lombok. Our final destination to close out our amazing trip was Seminyak. This was probably our favorite spot. The resort was beyond amazing. We indulged at the Samaya Seminyak. This is where we discovered Bali has the most amazing style and design. We took home several pieces that remain some of our favorite home decor to this day. Bali was a dream. The humble people, the untouched beauty of our natural earth and the impeccable design and attention to detail quickly found this locale a warm spot in our hearts.
