I found a mysterious black magnetic mineral in a dry mountain stream and decided to investigate it. In this video, I collect the black mineral-rich material, separate the heavy particles using magnets and water, and perform several mineral identification tests. The sample shows strong magnetic properties, high density, and unusual resistance during chemical testing with hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. I also examine the original quartz-like rock and the shiny metallic crystals inside it to understand what this unknown mineral could be. Is it magnetite, titanomagnetite, chromite, ilmenite, or another heavy mineral? This is a real mineral investigation combining geology, chemistry, and mining exploration.
