Watercolour Landscape in a Loose Style: Step by Step | Painting Trees and Sunlight

This colourful, expressive landscape was such a joy to create, and I want to share the process with you. I am also demonstrating a relatively new to me technique for creating a strong contrast when painting trees, and I am happy to say it has been working very well for me. As always, I am painting at a slight angle, and the paints on my well palette have been softened with a spritz of water so they are ready to dance and flow.
