Mastering ICF Walls: Building Our Own Insulated Concrete Form Walls - Episode 6

What an exciting part of our build! Constructing our own ICF walls AND filling them with concrete. We will go over what went well and what we would do differently. we start by explaining how we build the shell with ICF block. Then we cut out the window and door bucks. Finally we filled our forms with rebar and concrete. To get the wall filled, we needed to install braces to straighten our walls and give us scaffolding for the pour. We ran into some trouble and had to pour in two separate days. Learning how to build and pour ICF walls has been an adventure and we thank you for following along.
