Recorded on June 12, 2019 Queensland Rail's electric multiple unit (often referred to as EMUs) were built by Walkers Limited (now absorbed into Downer Rail) with propulsion equipment supplied by ASEA. The first 13 EMUs were delivered in 1979. They are scheduled for replacement, along with the InterCity Express trains (ICE), by the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR). This train was cut short due to airconditioning issues. It would terminate at Bowen Hills, rather than Caboolture.
