Didrik Fröberg Faceoff finel sampler On November 15th, 2025, I stepped onto the floor for the last time as an athlete at Faceoff — a moment I will never forget for many reasons. What began in 2018 became a journey marked by resilience — from breaking my leg in 2019 to the long road back that followed, finally returning to the competition again in 2021 — knowing I would never return as the same athlete I once was, yet choosing to keep going, each step shaping the athlete I became. I can feel my body starting to say it’s time to slow down, and as an athlete, I know my journey is reaching its closing chapters. But I hope to spend many more years with Faceoff as a coach, because what you’ve built means so much to me — and it’s an honour to give back to a community that has shaped me. I came from nothing — born in Russia and given a second chance when I was adopted into a Swedish family at the age of three. I started gymnastics in a small local club, and somehow that path led me to become known as one of the best gymnasts in Europe. I was born to be no one, and I was given the chance to become someone. Thank you, Faceoff, for giving me the opportunity to become part of your family. I will be forever grateful for everything this experience has brought into my life. And thank you to all the amazing athletes I’ve had the privilege of competing with and against. Watching so many of you grow into exceptional performers has been one of the greatest gifts of my career. Thank you!
