Shibura 844LT oil pump

Installation of the oil pump on the Shibaura N844LT-D engine. This also applies to the Perkins 400 series engine, and the Caterpillar 3024 series engines as well. These are used in many medium sized skid steer loaders from Case/New Holland, and Cat, as well as lifts, small tractors, and some marine. There are two versions of the this pump, an "early" small hub, and a "late" large hub. The easiest way to tell is to measure the portion that goes into the front timing cover. Early pump is about 2.044" OD, while the late is 2.440". If you watch closely, you can sense my mood change near the end of the video where I figure out I have bought the wrong version of the pump! Grrrrrr...
