Python Release at Babanango Game Reserve

Babanango Game Reserve welcomed another rescued Southern African Python onto the reserve. Measuring close to 3 metres in length, the female python was safely removed from a home in Nkandla by Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife in collaboration with snake handler, Amy Panikowski. After being safely captured, the python was successfully released on the reserve the following day. This marks the seventh python release at Babanango, thanks to collaborative efforts with partners like Nick Evans, Free Me Wildlife, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, and others who continue to play a vital role in python rescue and relocation efforts.
