For our time in the Centennial State, we spent one day in the town of Durango where we took a ride on the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (Cascade Canyon Express), had some excellent burgers and brews at Steamworks Brewing Company, explored the quaint downtown (including Old Colorado Vintage and Cream Bean Berry Artisan Ice Cream), and made a visit to the Durango & Silverton Railroad Museum before calling it a day!
