This year, the Velodom 120km was on the agenda again, and with a huge change: I started with my own bike and rode with a SRAM drivetrain for the first time! Between the fear of crashes in the tightly packed peloton, my perfect nutrition strategy of mixed drinks and gels, and choosing the right starting block to combat the headwind, I'll take you along on the completely closed course through the beautiful Bergisches Land region to Wipperfürth. After crossing the finish line, we'll watch the epic pro finale in Cologne's Rheinauhafen.
