3 STEPS for Clearing & Cleaning AIRBRUSH Clogs

Airbrush clogs happen, so within this video I'll show you the 3 steps that I'll use to resolve this common problem. We'll be using one of my new favorite techniques for cleaning out that nozzle with an inexpensive dental product called paper points. But before I start using these, I like to start with the simplest solution to any problem. What I initially think is a clog is most often actually just tip dry. So the first thing that I always do is remove the dried paint from the needle tip. I'll use a tooth brush, a cotton swab, or my fingers to remove this dried paint. Then I'll move on to flushing out the airbrush into a spray pot using an airbrush cleaner suitable for the paint that I am using. This often resolves the issue. If I am still noticing airbrush performance issues while spraying water only, then I'm pretty confident that there is some dried paint within the nozzle that I will need to manually remove. I'll show you how I use these paper points with some airbrush cleaner to fully clean out my airbrush nozzle. I wish I knew about these years ago when I started!
