Harley Davidson EVO Softail: Oil Change Tutorial

This week I'll show you how to change the engine oil on your Harley Davidson EVO Softail. This is the Big Twin motor we're working with here. This engine model ran from 1984-1999 so if you’ve got a Softail in that year range everything you see in this video will apply to your bike. I'll show you all the tools you need to complete the job, and a LITTLE SECRET that will help you get a stuck oil filter off with NO EXTRA TOOLS required! ————————————————— TOOLS NEEDED: -Oil Filter (Amazon affiliate): https://amzn.to/3C6LEXe This filter is less expensive than the Harley one and does the same thing. -3 Quarts of your oil of choice. I’m using Harley 20w50 CONVENTIONAL (the EVO does not require synthetic) but I have used Mobil 1, Castrol and many other brands in the past. For all intents and purposes they do the same thing.
