Artificial Intelligence is transforming how research is managed and supported — yet many research managers and administrators still lack structured opportunities to build practical AI skills in a safe, low-pressure environment. At the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, a 12-week hands-on programme called Cacharreando was created to address exactly this challenge — helping staff explore AI and digital tools through real-world cases, hackathon-style sessions, and self-paced learning.
