The Roll That Came Back To Life The worst fear for a film photographer is accidentally opening the camera while the roll is still inside, and that’s what happened to me, so if you want to know how to recover exposed film, this is my story. I’m Kevin Chaires, photographer and my roll of C41 Fujifilm 400 got light leaks due to my Canon AE-1 Program rewind lever breaking. The AE1P rewind knob fell and the backplate opened.
