How To Do Marriage of Metal
This week’s new YouTube video is How To Do Marriage of Metal. If you’re not familiar, this is a basic but challenging process in metalsmithing and jewelry-making. One type of metal is precisely cut to fit into another piece of metal, soldered in place, and cleaned up so that the inlaid piece of metal is nearly seamlessly a part of the base metal and can be seen from both sides. If you are a beginner student, I hope this is helpful and I would love to see what you create! Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe and share with anyone you think might be interested!
