ЛІСІЧЕНКО МАКСИМ - ВІЧНА СЛАВА ГЕРОЮ!
BOGUSLAV REGION IS SHOCKED AGAIN BY GRAVE — 31-YEAR-OLD HERO LYSICHENKO MAKSYM DIED. Every news about the death of a fellow countryman is an indescribable pain for our entire community. Today, the relatives of LYSICHENKO Maksym Kostyantynovich from Boguslav received a notification about the death of the Hero, who had been on the lists of "missing and missing" since February 26, 2026. Maksym was born on February 21, 1995 in the village of Dybyntsy. He graduated from school in his native village, and later earned a profession as a cook at the Boguslav Vocational and Technical Education Center. However, he did not work a single day in his specialty — instead, he devoted himself entirely to repairing apartments and private houses of Ukrainians throughout the country. He not only got carried away with repair work himself, but also taught his wife Iryna various tricks when pasting wallpaper or puttingtying walls, with whom he got married in 2018. On September 19, 2024, the Hero was called up to defend the country. He trained in Ukraine and Germany, and then he defended the Donetsk region, Kherson region and Zaporizhia region, where on February 26, 2026 in the area of p. Zapasne enemy FPV-drone cut short the life of our countryman - junior sergeant, commander of the 3rd mortar of the 3rd mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the motorized infantry battalion of military unit A 4955. The Hero's wife Iryna recalls how her lover with the call sign "Santa" carried a Santa toy in his military backpack, which he found on the front lines of the Donetsk region: "He never parted with the toy, it was his little talisman. My husband received the call sign "Santa" because I constantly sent him addressed parcels with goodies, which he shared with his comrades. When my husband went to Germany for training, I ordered personalized Santa chevrons for him, which Maksym presented to the military from America. He was very energetic, loved to fish with his son Timofey, had many friends, especially among his comrades. Once they helped me arrange a surprise for Maksym: during the race of the repaired car, I went to his front line. His guys supported me, especially the fellow “Pirates”, when in February I lost contact with my husband. That same day I went to Zaporizhzhia, I really wanted to be with my beloved, to support him when they found him. However, the fellows, who went around every corner of that village, never found my husband, only saw blood and some of his belongings in an abandoned basement. Then they conducted a DNA analysis, which did not confirm family ties with our son, and then I had a glimmer of hope that my beloved was alive, he was in captivity. I was already picturing our future in my mind, counting the days and falling asleep with a prayer for his return…” However, fate decided otherwise, ruthlessly severing this delicate connection, which my wife held on to with all her strength. In her heart, only an unbearable, deafening silence remained, where hope had lived yesterday… On behalf of the residents of the community, we express our sincere condolences to the relatives of the 31-year-old Hero, in particular, his wife Irina, 7-year-old son Timofey, nanny Natalia and two younger brothers - Anatoly and Yaroslav. No words can heal this terrible wound in your hearts and assuage the pain of unspeakable loss. We bow our heads in deep sorrow and share this immense grief with your family. The feat of our countryman, who gave the most valuable thing - his life - for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, will forever remain in our memory. Eternal honor, glory and bright memory to our defender. Heroes do not die!
