Women's Rights National Historical Park, Seneca Falls, New York

The National Park is spread out mostly in the northern region of New York state, between Seneca Falls and Waterloo. In this episode I visit the Visitors Center and the Wesleyan Church, where the first Women's Rights Convention took place (it was restored in the 1980s to look as it did during the mid-19th century). The visitors center contains a museum on the top floor and a gift shop and The First Wave sculpture, which consists of 20 life-size sculptures of people involved in the women's rights movement (including Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Frederick Douglass). In another video, I visit the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House, which is part of this park. I did not visit any of the places outside Seneca Falls that were part of the WRNHP.
