Paris Walking From Eiffel Tower - Arc de Triomphe

Having just visited the Eiffel Tower I couldn’t wait to visit the next monument in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe. Join me on a walk through Paris, first passing the fountains and Trocadéro Gardens we then make our way through the city streets where the is some interesting diverse architecture. One of my favourite things to do in France is look for interesting doors while walking around, how many can you find along the way. When we arrive at the Arc de Triomphe be sure to look at the way the traffic flows on the famous roundabout with traffic on the roundabout having to give way to vehicles joining it! From the top of the Arc de Triomphe there are incredible panoramic views of the city, there’s also a storm in the distance and not long after I finished filming it poured down. Beneath the Arch is the eternal flame marking the tomb of the unknown soldier, a couple of days later I was back for VE Day, attended by president Macron for a ceremony which is held here each year marking the end of the Second World War.
