Nickelodeon - 2001-01-15 - Commercials, Bumps, & Credits (Rugrats 10th Anniversary Marathon)

Sorry it's been awhile since my last upload. I wanted to ensure I was producing the highest quality VHS rips as possible so I took the time to hunt down a brand new JVC deck with TBC, as well as a much nicer capture card that will keep the audio and video in sync better on some of the tricky tapes that I have lined up. It also takes me multiple days to capture a tape, post-process the AVI file, de-interlace the video, and encode in the highest quality that I can. I hope you all enjoy the final product, and I look forward to sharing more VHS captures! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These commercials are taken from a 6 hour tape that contained part of the Rugrats 10th Anniversary Marathon, which aired in January of 2001 leading up to the debut of the Rugrats episode 'Finsterella'. This was the first episode of season 7 and the first Rugrats episode following Rugrats in Paris: The Movie which released the previous year in 2000. January 15, 2001 was Martin Luther King Jr. Day and thus many schools in the United States would observe a holiday which means all the kids were at home and Nickelodeon banked off this being a great opportunity to kick off season 7 of the Rugrats. This tape holds a special place in my heart because I can vividly remember these bumps as well as that days airing of Slime Time Live, which was longer than usual given the Rugrats marathon airing till Nick @ Nite started at approximately 7pm CST if I'm not mistaken. This video contains the commercials, bumpers, and a few clips of closing credits when there were voice overs on them. I will be uploading the entire Slime Time Live airing from this same day in a separate video to keep the video length down and to make it easier to watch without interruptions. This days complete airing of Slime Time Live can be found here:    • Nickelodeon - 2001-01-15 - Slime Time Live...   -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These commercials were taken from a VHS tape in my own collection.
