In this video, I show you ALL of the homestays and tea houses that we stayed in. As you would expect, homestays and tea houses are pretty basic. But they keep you sheltered from the environment and some even come with a hot shower and blankets! We had the pick of the litter during our Tamang Heritage Trek in October 2022. Because of this, we stayed in the BEST tea houses in each of the villages we stayed in. As more people find out about this newer trek, demand for tea houses will probably be a bit higher so you should lower your expectations from this video as tea houses can quickly fill up especially when you're competing against tour groups and guides. Don't be alarmed if some nights you have to sleep in the dining hall with the porters and other trekkers --- been there, done that in 2018.
