Turbo EMDs in the Goulburn Valley: Australian Trains
Trains hauled by turbocharged 16-645 or 12-645 EMD powered diesel locos along Victoria's Goulburn Valley line on 8 December 2013. The video commences with XR550 and XR552 heading north with a rare daylight run of 9306 down Tocumwal freight and is seen at Aerodrome Rd near Nagambie, Arcadia, Wunghnu, Katunga and Strathmerton. At Toolamba, N465 (the last N in the red/blue vline livery) heads north with 8309 down Shepparton pass. The final scene again shows N465, this time with 8322 up Shepparton pass at Heathcote Junction. © 2013 James Brook
