A Quick Dash Through Bantry Market

This is our local market and it happens every Friday throughout the year - although on a wet cold day in February it doesn’t look quite like this : - ) But in the summer, especially on the first Friday of each month, it is a busy and vibrant place. We count ourselves very lucky to have such a resource on our doorstep and most weeks we’d make it down for a quick dash through. It’s quite hard to get from one end of the square to the other in a short time – because there’s always something to look at or someone you haven’t seen for a while.. We hope you find it a bit interesting – markets around the world are fascinating and perhaps similar, but maybe you can pick up clues to the differences between people and places too.
