This journey included Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela, where she was finally located and arrested days later. According to the collected data, Erika María “N” left Ensenada, Baja California, on Saturday, April 11, beginning a land journey of approximately 2,826 kilometers (1,500 miles) to Mexico City. She traveled by car, making several stops along the way before arriving at the residence where the crime occurred. In a previous recording, the woman herself recounted part of the journey, indicating that the trip took place over several days.
