Peochar Valley from terrorism to tourism | Matta | swat

Places to visit in Pakistan in winter. Wait is finally over. Here comes the hidden gem of Swat. #Peuchar_valley once the hideout and stronghold of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is now a place must to visit for tourists and nature lovers. At a distance of 2.5 hrs from Chakdara interchange of Swat Motorway and 1.5 hr from Matta, this valley offers isolation with plenty of serene views to the viewers. Unluckily, hotels are not in good number. Infact we could find only one at #Maraday_top and that was closed too due to winter. Road to Maraday top is narrow, steep and not in good condition. Tourism department should take note and rehabilitate the road, build hotels and make it a place fit for tourism. During Swat operation against terrorism, Peuchar valley remained a tough challenge for rescuers but ultimately terrorism was defeated. Thank God and thanks to Pak army.
