Llech Ddu Spur (Crib lem) - Fly Through

Llech Ddu Spur is a fantastic Grade 1 scramble in the Carneddau Range. The hike starts in the village of Gerlan and follows the stream to the base of Carnedd Daffyd. It is to be attempted in good weather conditions and for those with scrambling experience and a head for heights and exposure. (If you have completed Crib Goch and/or Tryffan North Ridge all should be fine). On this day 24/05/2026 we had a very rare 25 Degrees Celcius with no wind following the circular route to Carnedd llewelyn and finally bagging Yr Elen before heading back to Gerlan. The route is approx 19km with 1170m of Elevation Gain. Check out other videos uploaded that included additional drone footage and FPV of parts of the scramble.
